A book I have added to my summer “to read” list is Matthew Kirschenbaum’s Mechanisms: New Media and the Forensic Imagination. As Dr. Kirschenbaum reports on his blog, he was interviewed in January for MIT Press’s monthly podcast. I will check this podcast out tomorrow during my commute.

How cool is this: Mechanisms also has its own blog now! I am proud to link to Dr. Kirschenbaum’s work; not only am I big fan of it, his definition of Electronic Literature is the one I am using for my MA thesis and the one Toni and I are working with for our symposium presentation next month (Oh my! A Month from tomorrow!)
