Yesterday morning, on the way to work, I was in a car accident. We had snow/sleet in the morning and while changing lanes I lost control of my truck and slammed into a cement pole. I am alright: some bumps and bruises, a gash on my elbow that might turn into a cool looking scar, and in general I feel pretty sore. My truck is another story. The driver’s side is totally bashed in from right behind the door to about three quarters of the bed. I did get almost five years out of it though.

So now I need to get a new car. I really want another truck, maybe with a smaller bed. My father and I are looking this weekend. I am certain I am supposed to be grateful for being mostly uninjured, but the thing I am most upset about is losing a day of work and falling behind on projects.

Well, anyway, I am fine for the most part. Instead of frantically calling people I figured it would be easier to just post here to update the world.
