Toni already announced it on her blog but I should announce here that the spring conference we are organizing now has a date. As we announced on the conference blog, the conference will be taking place on April 4th, hopefully, in the Wilson Hall auditorium. We are thrilled to also announce that Dr. Kristin Bluemel has agreed to be our keynote speaker.

This week Toni and I went and visited all four of our graduate courses to discuss the conference with them. We got some enthusiastic feedback, including a great idea for a panel, and generally received an optimistic, encouraging, response. In the next few weeks we should more information about the conference.
