I have not felt much of an urge to pick up a PSP yet, but Final Fantasy Tactics: War Of The Lions might change my mind. War Of The Lions is a PSP port of Final Fantasy Tactics, which is my favorite video game. I played through FFT again last winter and enjoyed it even more than my first play through.

Forever Geek’s review highlights a lot of what I enjoy about the game and look forward to reacquainting myself with in the PSP version. Much like their reviewer, I don’t think I could ever tire of playing this game. There are numerous variations and directions the game can take. I still have not done a lot of the bonus side quests or tracked down Cloud Strife. The only other games I can safely say I could never tire of are the original Final Fantasy (same reasons: the game is so open ended that the gamer can employ a variety of strategies and constraints) and The Legend of Zelda (which just never gets old). Most modern games just don’t move me in general, but especially in this regard.

Right now I have saves open on a few games, but when I finish those I think I will pick up a PSP and try out War Of The Lions.
