Who needs the Taliban when the American one is already here!
- A Republican rep from Wisconsin wants to make “indecency” on cable television to be a criminal offense. Breaking news-you PAY to view cable channels. I certainly do not pay for the channels about your precious God that does not exist; therefore, you do not have to pay for HBO either. However, oh no, if they find it indecent no one should view it. Hey, I find the bible to be “indecent” can we ban that too?
- Then there is the “sexy cheerleading” bill in Texas. Why is it that, as Twisty over at I Blame The Patriarchy points out, women and girls are always at blame for the ways in which men respond to them. Much like with abortion, pregnancy, and jobs, men feel the need to regulate and control every aspect of the lives of women. Handmaids Tale, here we come!
